What Is Rice Paper?

Despite the name, the rice paper used in premium record sleeves is not traditional paper.

In modern archival inner sleeves, a thin anti-static rice paper layer is sandwiched between two layers of HDPE. This construction combines the durability and smoothness of HDPE with improved static dissipation.
