About HDPE Inner Sleeves
Our inner sleeves are made using high-density polyethylene (HDPE) a smooth, durable, and archival-safe material designed to protect your records without introducing abrasion or contaminants.
Unlike paper sleeves, HDPE does not shed fibers or create excess friction. This helps reduce the risk of micro-scratches and keeps the record surface cleaner over time.
To further improve performance, our sleeves incorporate an anti-static rice paper insert, sandwiched between two HDPE layers. This construction helps dissipate static buildup while maintaining a soft, low-friction surface for safer handling.
The result is a reliable inner sleeve that:
- Reduces static and dust attraction
- Minimizes friction during insertion and removal
- Protects against debris and surface wear
- Supports long-term, archival-safe storage
A semi-translucent front panel also allows you to view coloured vinyl or picture discs without removing the record.
Meets the Photographic Activity Test (PAT) standard (ISO 18916) for safe, long-term archival storage.
